| How do I install MDID and ARTstor? (link) |

MDID:
1. On the machine you are installing, create an ImageViewer folder (usually C:\Program Files\ImageViewer), and copy all the files in UCTOOLS\OTHER\MDID\ImageViewer2_PC into the local ImageViewer folder. Create a shortcut in Start, All Programs for the new application.
2. Run the application. After it loads and prompts for a username/password, select "Preferences" in the upper right corner of the application and change two settings: MDID URL should be http://mdid2.wlu.edu ( http://mdid2.wlu.edu/ ), and Local Image Cache Directory can be set to any local folder that the user can access (varies depending on installation).
3. Test ID=biged, password - biged
Artstor:
Found in UCTOOLS\OTHER\ARTSTOR(EK).
1. Open the ZIP file and run executable to install.
2. Open program
3. You may need to click "unblock" on a windows security prompt
4. From menu, Insert, Image Groups from Artstor
5. Authenticate Now prompt - Use the ID=tech1@wlu.edu PW=artstorinstall
6. You should see a selection of shows that can be downloaded
